Dr. Richard Frazee
Dr. Frazee, holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry. In addition to 30 years of experience using various forms of spectroscopy in Chemistry and Biochemistry as a Post-Doctoral researcher and Assistant Professor, he worked for 10 years at AVL Test Systems Inc. where he gained extensive experience in the Commissioning and Application Engineering of Aviation and Automotive Emissions Measurement systems.
At AVL he applied his teaching experience and skills to provided internal and customer specific training for Gaseous and Particulate Emissions Measurements and Instrumentation. Before leaving AVL to found his current Consulting firm, Singularity Scientific Consulting Services LLC, Rich gained several years of experience in Aviation/Automotive Emissions Research & Development.
He actively participates in SAE Engine and Vehicle Emissions Standards Committee as well as SAE E-31 Aircraft Engine Gas and Particulate Emissions Measurement Committee work. In addition, he is a member of the Engine Manufacturers Technical Committee (EMTC) where he contributes technical knowledge and advice in support of the development of Emissions Measurement Standards and legislation governing Emission Measurement Methods.
